On September 14th 2014 NRI’s from Thakarki village attended the Sukhmani Sahib Paath hosted by The Thakarki Trust committee. This was the first meeting for the committee and the NRI community. Gurmukh Singh read out the Chairman’s statement and informed the congregation of the progress to date. The first founding members of the Trust were recruited. Membership fee is £50 pa. A full list of the founding members will be published when forwarded by the committee.
The event was hosted at the Park Avenue Gurdwara in Nuneaton and the committee wish to thank the Gurdwara committee for their assistance.
