In October 2015, TTT Secretary Narendar and myself visited Thakarki and whilst we were there we requested that the Panchayat get together to come up with united suggestions on how we can improve the village infrastructure. We thank the Panchayat who shared their views with us on 20th October 2015 at Thakarki primary school.
We agreed the following:
- The shappar wall along the main road needs urgent repairs or replacing, we are getting estimates to start work in the near future.
- Following request from Panchayat it was agreed that TTT would assist in building a new Panchayat garh.
- The Panchayat has promised to deal with the shappar near Bhanorki.
- TTT aims to provide support potentially for 2 students per year with regards to higher education.
TTT would like to thank the Panchayat for their support and we look forward to working closely with them.
